Sourced from diverse, limestone-rich vineyards throughout Burgundy, our Aligoté is fermented with natural yeasts in large, 1,000-liter foudres. Bright, with a pale golden hue, this wine shows an expressive aromatic profile of delicate white flowers, like jasmine, alongside notes of yellow fruits, nectarine, and citrus zest. Perron de Mypont Chardonnay is sourced from selected vineyard parcels in Burgundy’s classic Chardonnay areas of the Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and Chablis. To ensure elegance and delicacy in the wine, the grapes were picked at optimal ripeness during cool mornings early in the harvest. Following fermentation, a portion of the cuvée was matured for nine months in used French oak barriques and 600-liter demi-muids to develop texture and complexity, while maintaining freshness. The finished wine is rounded and well-balanced, with an aroma of white fruits and delicate flowers atop a fine mineral structure.

The Edition Perron de Mypont Meursault is a blend of fruit from several village parcels at the southern end of the appellation, near our home base in Puligny-Montrachet. These parcels are in and around the rocky hillside of Les Narvaux, a highly regarded climat that is just to the west and a bit up the slope from the Les Genevrières premier cru vineyard. This esteemed village in the southern Côte d’Or is renowned for its hard, white limestone soil that brings a vivid energy and a fine mineral structure to Chardonnay. The wine is classically green-gold in color, with a ripe fruit and floral aroma and a full, fleshy texture held taut by a flinty edge.

Perched just above the famed Clos Saint-Jacques and facing southeast into the cool, windy corridor of the Combe de Lavaux, this vineyard enjoys optimal sun exposure and mineral-rich, calcareous-marl soils. Historically, this site ranked among Burgundy’s finest climats, on par with Ruchottes and Charmes Haut. Yet during the Grand Cru classifications of the 1930s, the voice of Côte Saint-Jacques was overlooked. On the nose, there is an intense black cherry aroma, while the palate reveals a round and velvety texture, exuding a rich and full expression. The back palate unfolds with length and dynamism, showcasing vibrant red berries and a subtle acidic structure that highlights the greatness of its terroir.
