Maison Perron de Mypont Crémant de Bourgogne

Burgundy’s best-kept sparkling secret!

Step into the refined world of Crémant de Bourgogne – the sparkling wine that marries centuries of tradition with timeless elegance. Long before other sparkling regions captured global attention, Burgundy was crafting effervescent expressions of its most iconic terroirs. In fact, as early as the 19th century, it was fashionable to transform legendary grand crus like Clos de Vougeot and Romanée-Conti into sparkling masterpieces. At the height of its popularity, sparkling red Bourgogne Mousseux was the toast of the town, with more than a million bottles sold in 1827.

Maison Perron de Mypont Aligoté

Maison Perron de Mypont Aligoté

A vibrant and refreshing white wine that embodies the rich heritage of Burgundy’s terroir.

Sourced from diverse, limestone-rich vineyards throughout Burgundy, our Aligoté is fermented with natural yeasts in large, 1,000-liter foudres. It then matures in barrel, on the full lees, to bring depth, flesh, and structure to the wine. Bright, with a pale golden hue, this wine shows an expressive aromatic profile of delicate white flowers, like jasmine, alongside notes of yellow fruits, nectarine, and citrus zest. On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant, with a distinct minerality that adds depth and complexity. The finish is lively and invigorating, leaving a lasting impression of freshness. Versatile and food-friendly, this wine is best served lightly chilled.

Maison Perron de Mypont Bourgogne Chardonnay

Maison Perron de Mypont Bourgogne Chardonnay

A fresh and energetic Chardonnay that expresses the true character of Burgundy’s signature white grape variety.

Perron de Mypont Chardonnay is sourced from selected vineyard parcels in Burgundy’s classic Chardonnay areas of the Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and Chablis. To ensure elegance and delicacy in the wine, the grapes were picked at optimal ripeness during cool mornings early in the harvest. Following fermentation, a portion of the cuvée was matured for nine months in used French oak barriques and 600-liter demi-muids to develop texture and complexity, while maintaining freshness. The finished wine is rounded and well-balanced, with an aroma of white fruits and delicate flowers atop a fine mineral structure.

Edition Perron de Mypont Meursault

Edition Perron de Mypont Meursault

A dynamic expression of Chardonnay from the limestone heart of the Côte de Beaune.

The Edition Perron de Mypont Meursault is a blend of fruit from several village parcels at the southern end of the appellation, near our home base in Puligny-Montrachet. These parcels are in and around the rocky hillside of Les Narvaux, a highly regarded climat that is just to the west and a bit up the slope from the Les Genevrières premier cru vineyard. This esteemed village in the southern Côte d’Or is renowned for its hard, white limestone soil that brings a vivid energy and a fine mineral structure to Chardonnay. The wine is classically green-gold in color, with a ripe fruit and floral aroma and a full, fleshy texture held taut by a flinty edge.

From the heart of Burgundy’s revered Côte des Blancs, the Meursault Premier Cru les Perrières captures the very essence of this exceptional region. Situated between the famous villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune, Meursault is globally celebrated for its exceptional white wines, with Perrières among the most sought-after Premier Cru climats. The name “Perrières” comes from the Latin “Petrarium,” meaning “stone quarry,” a fitting reflection of the vineyard’s poor, rocky soils rich in white limestone, which lend this Chardonnay its mineral-driven personality.
