Erni Loosen, celebrated for his exceptional Rieslings at Germany’s Dr. Loosen estate, has embarked on a new venture in Burgundy. His Perron de Mypont project, based at the historic Vieux Château de Puligny-Montrachet, introduces small-batch Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines to the US market. Collaborating with Manoël Bouchet and local growers, Loosen offers two distinct wine tiers: ‘Maison’ for traditional Burgundy négociant wines and ‘Edition’ for site-specific, low-intervention bottlings. The first releases are now available, marking a significant expansion of Loosen’s winemaking horizons.
